FIRST AID KIT ADVICE
Following consultation with the HSE, a new British Standard for workplace first aid kits (BS-8599-1) has now been introduced.
The new kits have been designed by industry experts and include a variety of new pieces of first aid equipment to reflect the modern workplace. The kits now include additional sensible items such as scissors, adhesive tape, burns dressings and sterile saline wipes.
Available in small, medium and large sizes, these new kits allow an employer to match the needs of their business with the correct first aid provisions.
